Description
Coloured engraved plate from the 1776 publication 'Collection precieuse et enluminée des fleurs les plus belles et les plus curieuses, qui se cultivent tant dans les jardins de la Chine, que dans ceux de l'Europe'. The artists are unknown, the author is Pierre Joseph Buchoz (1731-1807) a French medical doctor who also studied, taught and wrote on botanical and natural history subjects.
