Description

Colour woodblock print of Iris Sazanami from the catalogue of a Yokohama nursery which specialised in Iris kaempferi. The Yokohama nurseries supplied catalogues of plants for sale overseas. There is evidence to suggest that towards the end of the 19th Century they began to trade collectively as one company.
