Description

Plate 18 from J L M Poiret's book 'Lecons de Flore' depicting flower types printed or painted on vellum. Historical evidence suggests that the volumes held in the Lindley Library are a portion of Louis XVIII's copy of the Flore médicale, brought to England by Empress Eugénie.
