Description

Plate 15 from J L M Poiret's book Lecons de Flore depicting flower types printed or painted on vellum. Historical evidence suggests that the volumes held in the Lindley Library are portion of Louis XVIII's copy of the Flore médicale, brought to England by Empress Eugénie.
